Autogrill carries forward its commitment to corporate social responsibility. The Company is one of the supporters of “Terra Madre Young: we feed the planet”, the event organized by da Slow Food and Slow Food Youth Network in Milan from 3 to 6 October 2015 and focusing on the future of food and nutrition.

Sometimes, reality overcomes imagination. Whilst waiting for your flight, at Chicago O’Hare Airport, you sip a beer at one of the tables of Goose Island Brewery and order a dish of Blackened Jerk Chicken. You may not realise it, but in that moment just before boarding, you will have taken a significant journey and crossed the path of thousands of others, all while staying comfortably seated at the table. But how? Because it is by no coincidence that this dish of Jamaican flavours has been included on the menu - it was chosen from among many others.

The entire morning will be devoted to the topics of Sustainability and Innovation, at Coca Cola pavilion. Here, after a visit of the pavilion and a presentation of Coca Cola’s sustainability initiatives, guests will be invited to a small exhibition of start-ups, active in sustainable and second life projects.

Autogrill, which over the years has helped transform the travel dimension with its innovations in on the move food & beverage, decided to support “Via con me. Narratori in viaggio”, a literary contest. The initiative not only tells the story of an Italy that’s changing but is also designed to promote and develop young talents. It’s being organized in collaboration with Bottega Finzioni, Mondadori Electa and Einaudi, and is being promoted together with Autostrade per l’Italia.

It’s the prologue of "STEREOTRIP – Or what happens when you go away on holiday" the web series produced by Autogrill which through Zootropio - amongst the most popular Italian Youtubers – tells about the nevrosis of typical Italian man who is  leaving for a trip by plane.

This mini-series has four 4-minute episodes shot in Autogrill stores at Leonardo Da Vinci Fiumicino airport. They take a comical look at the clichés, neuroses and manias of three friends off to Ibiza for a holiday.

Guests  enjoied a journey through the food&wine offering developed by Autogrill, in collaboration with UNISG, from the Motta Caffè Bar to the Spazio Milano restaurant via a number of different food concepts in the store: Il Mercato, Bistrot Milano Duomo, Terrazza Aperol and Le Bollicine del Duomo. An exclusive tour thanks to numerous artistic and musical performances but also the prestigious setting of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, a masterpiece in Milan’s architectural heritage recently renovated by the architect Michele De Lucchi.

 In the book "La crisalide nel fango", Viviani engages with a pulp story with noir implications, a narrative with three voices , close and exciting until the end that comes gloomy , logical and unexpectedly cruel.

“Il Mercato del Duomo”, Autogrill’s new “cathedral” of taste, is unveiled to a wide group of journalist and foodbloggers, through a vertical tour melting tastes, traditions and gastronomic excellences.
